Juice, pulp and bits
unpleasant things are good for you
Killing is not part of my strategy (for removing flying insects from the house) but making threats is absolutely a big part of it - along with a lot of flapping and directing. Here’s my list of top three worst bug visitors:
1.Wasp
2.Big Moth
3.Daddy longlegs
I don’t think “manifesting” is real at all, it’s just another form of superstition. I’m sure I feel better when I’m not trying to get control over what happens (good and bad).
Having said that, I am going to manifest a snack for myself in twenty minutes by putting two frozen croissants in the oven.
At the weekend my eldest daughter invited her friends round for a ‘creative crafternoon’. It was her idea, she made invitations and gave me a detailed diagram of everything she wanted out on the table.
I was surprised to see how much the children gravitated to our old friend the spirograph.
I cracked into a new sketchbook this week. Here are some spreads where the alcohol based markers bled right through to the other side, and even impacting the next page.
At the moment, there are lots of cheap boxes of these kind of pens available at TK-Max.
In other news: To help my ongoing low iron problem, I’ve been told to drink orange juice along with my supplements.
And if you live in or near NYC, you might be able to go and see our animated music video “Princesses of Space at Heartfelt Gallery’s film screening on Saturday 20th June.
Thank you for reading!
(I want to make it clear that I do like bits in my orange juice, I don’t think they’re unpleasant at all.)

Me and my mother once got in a conversation about TikTok witches and manifestation, and I once described Sovereign Citizenship as witch manifestation for men. Just thought that was a unique angle that nobody thought of before.
Lovely bits as always ! I like the pulpy as well. How exciting your film is being shared, how do your girls feel about that ?
